Anyway can't believe it, 4 more days to the US. I absolutely hate the weather here, sunny and 33 degree celsius every single day. It's about time for 10 degree celsius goodness! Just now, it was burning like hell. Think I consumed 2 litres of water already.

Anyway it's like cloudy now so it's not that bad. Yesterday, went to play some bowling with some 4E dudes. Kudos to Xin Kai for consistently blowing the first shot up and getting a spare afterwards. -.- It was alright for me, but really enjoyed it. Then golf in the evening and went to the gym to do some 2km running. Boy, I need to run more.

Anyway, today was fun! Cage in the morning... scored 5 goals altogether. Haha, loved playing with those guys, always score! Then lunch at Old Airport Road. the food there was really gooood. Rested at home after lunch and went to meet up cell for cycling for like only an hour plus. Haha, wanted to go for movie marathon!!! Aiya, it would be fun, wonder what movie are they watching now. comedy theme for all movies somemore!
Talked to Alaster and (his girlfriend?) Gwen for the first time. Nice people, but scared I interfered with their private space! If I did, sorry..

Anyway sister Venny's coming to town tmr from Ozzie! Was surprised there was no jg tmr.

Anyway besides Coldplay, Tuesday's powerhouse ROCKED. Keep jamming those hits that made me dance like there's no tomorrow. Fun shitzzz arh. Never slept at 4 for ages. Wish we could do it again man, like maybe next Mon at Zouk. :)
Jhammed till 2 and walked ard a deserted vivocity at 2.30. Ate some bak chor mee at 3 and watched some CL for a while before taking the snooze at 4.15 till 1. :D

Today, didn't expect to go out lah.. thought this would be my first break to rest at home for like 2 weeks. but it just doesn't stop! Eugene call me up to join Melody and Gordon to Minds cafe and after that, watched 'body of lies' at the cathay. well done, Leo for that performance. after that, we headed down to secret recipe for Gordon's little treat and ate a slice of Choc indulgence too. still owe Eugene some cash, opps.

Guess I'll be playing bowling and golfing tmr, but I need to sleep now. And on Fri, one more session at the cage before cycling at 5? This weekend, gotta catch Lexus Club at home club, SICC! let's go, team asia. Then hopefully, Mon going to Zouk then catching Liverpool's match at 4, before going to airport at 7 for flight outta here. Just keeps getting better and better! :DD

Hahah, ONE MORE WEEK TO THE US!
A moment of indulgence there. :)

Had my first 18-hole golf game in months on Friday. Met an RI guy and his dad while playing. Nice ppl all in all. My game had some bad shots, but overall, it was still a good practice session. Golf CCA for JC!

On Sat, went back to JG for first time in months! Was very enriching. Then after service, went down to eat High-5 Nasi Lemak. Their slogan: Guarantee no lousy fish. Genius! After short dinner, went to LAN and CS-ed for like an hour and went back home to see Liverpool draw to Fulham -.- hopefully this is the last time we draw to lesser opponents, or else our best chance of winning the title in 19 yrs would disappear!

On Sunday, went to play golf with Ruby and Marissa for the last time this year. DIdn't even know till I arrived there lah. Anyway, rest assured I will apply for the same program next yr, or maybe not. :/

Then it was raining cats and dogs before Mavis BBQ. It was fun! With the trolley, the people, the dai di, the Indian Poker game and of course Mr ng, it was really enjoyable! Too bad they didn't call for a chalet. :(

Anyway, we sent off 8 4C-ers to go SHANGHAI. So lucky, wish I could join them, but US will speak greater in volumes. So long Caleb, Kow, Li Zhi, Zhi Yuan, Kaymond, Tommy and Ng Ping. Ate Popeye and we thought it was a rip-off! After that, some of us chilled at my place with PAYDAY board game and of course, PES 2008. Gonna get PES 2009 very soon.

Kk, time to go to St James Power Station! Till 2-3 am! :P

Vacation from Vacation

WHOA!! I need a vacation from this vacation! Too much of a good thing is a bad thing, and these holidays showed me why.

It's been like a week since O levels, and I swear, I forgot half of the things I learnt in school. Maybe cos half the things are being sold to Karang Guni Man. I'm like wondering, should I throw it all away? Everything I worked hard for going to be thrown away? Must be something better than this. I can't sell it cos I write on every piece of paper there is. Worse still, my handwriting sucks. So no better way but to dump it all away, maybe keep some textbooks or workbooks, but not the worksheets.

Anyway, I think I'll be going out this entire week to add to last week's 'play'-list. Let's see... went to town 4 times... played pool twice... played ps3 once... played cage, but can't even run cos of tight shoes... arcade-ed twice... watched 3 movies... ate out thrice... bowled first... played com for 7hrs... watched 8 hrs of tele... listened to songs... shopped thrice... watched barclays... that's bout the productive holidays I can remember.

So, things I haven't done yet are going for bbq, chalet, LAN, board games at settlers' cafe, gone to a wintry country, ktv, maple(!), working, learn guitar, learn malay, played golf, GYM-ed and last and the least, study. Well, got 2 months and 11 days to do all that. But it's impossible to do all that. I'll be at the course playing tmr and hopefully can swim and gym at the same time. Stamina will be tested but it's good. Sunday, there's some bbq thing at 5 for Mavis which I just joined three months ago. Feel kinda extra, but nothing else to do that night.

I just can't wait to get out of here for holiday, can't wait for Dec 2. After carrot cake convo, realised how life here could possibly suck out the life of a working adult. So can't wait for two week escapade. Hopefully my eyesight won't be such a bother to me.

I think I need to make something happen for my holidays. Priorities on gym, guitar, golf and fun! Though I really want to learn Indo, I guess my dad is right. Can't use it much here, and why bother when your mother tongue needs more improvement! Work seems unrealistic for me only want to work in Jan, and studies are nono. 2 months of this, and we're hitting the books again. Sian. Plus NS for 2 years. More sian, Singapore wants all the men they can get until they have to take the PRs too. Then uni and boom, working life. Circle of Life can't be that straight.

I know this is ambitious and all, but I want to retire in another country. Somewhere where I can fufil my purpose in life: to serve God. But I can't go for any church camps this year cos of my US trip, but I'll find the purpose for my existence in life.

I know I'm going kinda deep, but first thing first, golf tmr at 12.42. BYE!

WHAT A WEEKEND!! Since thurs, I've been regaining my miserable social life and gone out everyday since. Carrot Cake Conversation on Friday with bro and sis at vivo, and surprisingly not that bad! Straits Time give 1 star for what. Anw I have two more tix for the movie! ;)

Before that, took 1hr bus ride all the way to habourfront and MARCHE was long queue, so went for second rate food republic. bro kena conned for fan choy... 9 bucks. Yes, for a plate that couldn't satisfy his hunger.

Went to town on sat for shopping, it was JR's fault lah. Went with caleb, ng ping and jr and got berms for 33 bucks and Ajisen for 16 bucks. NOT NICE. But love the berms. Oh yeah, watched liverpool going top of the table once again and LMAO for all the misses in the match. Love O levels afterlife.

Yesterday capped off a fantastic weekend, with barclays singapore open. everyone was literally jumping and shouting when ernie and harrington missed their 6 foot putts at the last hole. Love uncle yong seng for giving us pavillion tix to indulge on the food. SALMON SASHIMI!!! Haha, and was too lazy to get their autographs this time. Maybe cos of the crowd, but i was this close to big phil mick. alr had his autograph last yr. :D

And boy am I grateful. Pa brought me to get shoes after that! Classic slip-ons and white sneakers probably for the year ahead. Just wondering what to match chequered slip-ons with. Grateful for life, and grateful for God.

And today gonna go for some buffet thing at katong mall at 2, gotta go eat my breakfast now!

Thursday, 13 November 2008 was the last day to study, until Feb next year at least.

Yesterday was a fun day indeed! After the exams, we just chilled in the canteen for the last time. Received our testimonials from Mr Leo and Mdm Tang right after the Bio paper. Btw, all the MCQ papers all not bad, but most disappointing was chemistry sia. Anyway, everyday of my life this year, would just go to my table and start doing some work. The purpose: 'O' Levels. Was so used to studying that I almost opened up my Bio textbook yest.

ENOUGH OF STUDIES for a while please. Time to watch a movie, and we all headed to town for a movie. $6 movie tix. Wanted something lighter, so we all catched Madagascar at Cine. All 14 of us. See if I can remember who went... Caleb, Shaun, Tommy, Yucheng, Kow, Ng Ping, Gordon, Hong Yun, Faiz, Sheng Qiang, Bernard, Wen Jie and Junrong. LMAO for the movie, especially the penguins and the lemur. The shark bit of the movie and the granma were classic too. Hope there will be a penguin movie on those 4 birds who can't fly!

After the movie, we all never organise properly, so we all waited another half hr b4 deciding on the next place: Marina Square. Went there for some arcade and some bowling. HORRIBLE game for bowling! Anyway that was when we all call for the day, and stepped into the house at 6.

Watched that show 'I survived a japanese gameshow'. Think that black guy, Donnell, could win. Blacks rule this year, esp Obama. And couldn't join Nawawi for some games at east coast chalet. Sorry dude again. So stayed home and watched project runway. Nothing against gay people, but every guy in the show were not straight, esp that Christian guy. America's really a free country.

Today, will be watching carrot cake convo with siblings at vivo! 9.30pm's the slot, but having dinner there first with family! I could just be getting used to this. :)

Anyway decided to talk a bit about my tuition life. On Fri and today, went to tuition for Physics and Chem. THE LAST TWO SESSIONS FOR 2008! SO HAPPY!

No more saturdays being eaten up by these tuitions. Want to put all tuitions, if I have it, to weekdays and make it a five-day week for me.

Phase 2

Wow, never blogged for like 3 weeks! Of course, there's a reason to that. Dunno, it starts with an O and ends with an ass s.

It's been one heck of a two weeks. Another 5 more exam days, and this s*** will be over! What drives us, I guess, would be what we're all gonna do after the exams, so day by day I wait for 13th November.

So my holiday is set... 2nd December to 18th December! That also drives me.

Must talk about the exams first, I'm bringing back the memories to last Monday...

Chemistry was alright thanks to a special tool someone gave me. Haha, and tuition too!

English P1 should be alright, but P2 was like WTH. Summary especially, scared I omit some key words sia. Moderation!

AM P1 was so far, I have to admit, one of the easiest O level paper. Every Victorian has to agree with me.

Geography was interesting, especially the coral reefs question! I had to go to Great Barrier Reef for an example. But Development was great.

E Maths paper 1 robbed me of 4 marks, the 100 over 99 thing and the entire "INCREASED BY 300 percent" question totally tricked me, even though I still dunno how to do.

AM P2, way tougher than P1 with stupid plane geometry. Oh well, moderation!

Oh, THE toughest paper in O level Physics history. Some were too General Knowledge based... length of an atom. Hahah.

E Maths P2 was nerve-wrecking sia, especially the last 15 min. Was close to losing 10 marks near the end, and also the graph question some parts wrong liao. And also probablity diagram thing was like 36 lines for 1 mark. Haha.

And yesterday's Bio paper. Was good cos there wasn't any DNA question!

Phew, that done and over with. 5 more exam days to go. Must push through. Exam is sucking the soul and spirit out of me. I need to get them back.
