Finally I've started to update. It's been 2 weeks of heaven and hell.
For hell, Monday, Tuesday and Wed of these two weeks were mock exams. And yup, studying can go up to 1am, which means 5-6 hrs every day.
Chemistry, MT listening compre, Physics, Bio, E Maths, SS and A Maths for the last two weeks, not to mention the EL and Geog Elect the week before. Oh yeah, MT LISTENING COMPRE.
It was, like the other two papers, the hardest among the last three years. Just because everything is on a new syllabus, doesn't mean we have to be the 'guinea pigs' of the decade. Debate among students and even teachers for the right answer, so I just forget about the LC and just wait for the horrible results.
Also, for the last two Fridays, decided to let my hair down with some KTV. Just 2 hrs or so of singing, and it opened my eyes to the Chinese music world. And I showed to everyone I can sing a proper Chinese song! (Shut their mouths up). But overall, we had a great time, but we shouldn't get too carried away.
Last Saturday was my sister's 21th birthday, and so we went to Cafe Del Mar for the party. That's why couldn't go for the treat last week, but rather today.
The party rocked, though my bro and I were considered 'guest stars' for no reason. Maybe because we were all 3-5 years my sister's friends junior. But some talked with us, mainly NS issues and even boy-girl things, like "Hey who's that girl there arr? I think she quite cute." xD
Well, in fact, that girl caught most of our eyes.
And this week, we had two days off with two days off of curriculum. At this time? But the school thought it was the perfect time and it was an entire day of Thursday with career talks and proper dining etiquette. Yup, we had to put our learning to the practice on the dining table on Friday.
But besides that, the career talks were enriching. Resume writing, interview skills, charting a career path... I've more or less narrowed down my choices to aviation, business or finance and medical health. Engineering's still an outside chance.
Also learnt that life's too short to have a lousy job, so go for the good ones. Oh yeah, not to mention at least 17,000 hours in the office in our entire lifetime working, so make the best out of it.
Next week's SPA Skill 3, and I am worried for bio SPA like siao. 2 pratices and we have to sit down without a proper format to do the paper. Hope teachers will close one eye when marking. And also today, treat! ANd I have to use my Cathay movie voucher by this thursday.

Listening Compre.
Yup, tomorrow would be the last item of CL, and our results will be up in August. Swear it won't be the last time I'd be taking Chinese.
A gut feeling tells me I'll be retaking the exams in Oct, but it's only paper 1 and 2.
Today's Chem Mock Exam was scary s***! Haha, just scared my answers aren't correct. And before that, there was P.E. and scored one goal! Popped it in the top corner! But we still lost, thanks to Junrong's double. :P
The next two weeks are absolutely crazy.
Tomorrow- CL Listening
Wed- Physics Mock Exam. -.-
Thursday- Gala Premiere of Batman Begins! It's like at 9.20pm, so I'm dead for the next day.
Friday- Bio Mock Exam. --.--
Sat- My sister's birthday.
Next Mon- E Maths
Next Tues- SS
Next Wed- A Maths
Thursday and Friday- Camp Emerge (No school at all for those two days)
Like these 2 weeks aren't crazy enough, after these two weeks, it's 12 weeks to O levels.
Time isn't on my side.

Lost!
2 years have passed since Uncle Khor and his family came down to Singapore. '2 years?'
The lock opened and I was afraid they'd already left, but there I saw Uncle Khor's prominent head that shone as bright as the slightly dim living room. In the living room, the family of 5 sat on the slightly worn out couch. A game of friendly badminton had its toll after all. Aunty Christy and her 3 children gasped in shock. "Wow, look at you now!"
Nothing much about Aunty Christy had changed. She was still as jovious as ever, with her words of encouragement for PSLE 4 years ago, and now the O Levels. Mei Kai's still the shy guy that's well-protected by her mum, as his flat top was as light as ever. It was all those 2 years of not meeting up. How much I'd changed. I was that overweight boy waiting for the next day like nothing on Earth, but that's not the case now. I was so sure that it was nothing but a meeting that I honestly didn't want to go for. None of my siblings were at home, and I thought I'd be an outside figure. But, it was those 2 years that changed my entire world.
My rooms are still the same, with posters of football teams posing on the walls for 3 years and a table that stood on its own since I was 5. The houses opposite stood its ground with painting jobs that couldn't be recalled. Of course, some neighbours come and go, but the roads and the headlights shone onto the streets every single night onto Mr Goh's exteriors. Nothing much about my environment changed, but as we inevitably become slaves of time and money, it's God's greatest creation that always bring colours into our lives, dull or bright.
'I've changed?'
I sure did.
God Bless and Peace.

Back.
Back from Malaysia, I am. It was great to be back in Malacca. KTV, good food... all in 2 nites. Mmmm... good times.
So, tomorrow's the B div finals. I think we have a decent chance this time around, with the support we're gonna give. Sec 4s will be released at 2.35pm. It's official and we head down to Jalan Besar for the match, near Hinghwa Methodist Church! Though I'm not prepared for the geog test tmr, I'm pretty confident I'll improve from my horrible showing last time around.

Been a while since I posted. 15 weeks and 2 days and counting. Anyway, going to Malaysia for a weekend stay at grandma's place. And to think mock exams for Geography and English are next week. I think right now it's setting priorities straight. Planning to make blogging a weekly affair. So now, it's time for me to sleep into the night and wake once again in the early hours of the morning for Malaysia. But there's always sleeping in the car.
Hancock today, and I didn't realize it was so emotional. Oh well, 3 to 3 and a half out of 5. Thanks to Joel and Glen, my iPod's readythe week concerns the entire Sec 4 Chinese cohort, and it's confidential so I can't tell. to go! But will be looking at Geog in Malaysia, or else I would be dead. Also, the biggest shock of
And I was one word away from an A+ in informal letter. cousin friend, when I was signing off! Oh well, will be back on Mon, and after a weekend of rest, hopefully my energy's restored and I'll be raring to go on Tuesday morning. Will buy back some stuff!
I'm exhausted, and just wanna sleep. But before that, a little short story.
His eyesight was worsening by the week. Continuous concentration of tiny fonts on white sheets of paper wasn't as easy as it sounds. He'd remembered the days when he had perfect eyesight, but at such a young age, his eyes were then not ready for the world. But gone were the days when his eyes were perfect; when things were still perfect. But he had a solution now.
Every time he had felt as if his eye sockets were drying out, he would close his eyes wide shut. Complete darkness he saw, when perfect eyesight didn't matter. Complete darkness, the solution to his problem. If everyone had seen the world through his eyes, would they do the same?
God Bless and Peace.
