Listened to Muttons To Midnight, these two funny dudes, and an sms came in.
'O' Level coming in 16 weeks.
Yes, it's that fast. in 16 weeks and 2 days, we will all be in school sitting for our English written paper.
16 weeks later,
will I be ready?
Or will I make the same mistake I did 4 years ago?
2 weeks per subject.
In fact, I must be prepared even before that, with repeated revision.
There are no second chances this time.
Lord, give me strength through this period of time, as you have all these years and during my Oral examinations. Your power shall overcome all.
God Bless and Peace.

16 weeks later.

Done.
Sitting in the hall never felt so... eerie. Two teachers sat at the opposite rnd of the hall, as we held the entry proof in our hands.
We didn't want to confuse our minds, so we kept those papers of practice in our bags. The only people left to hold on to were our friends, as we relax with some words of comfort. Right smack in the middle was me, as we sat rather comfortably on our blue seats. The warmth of our bodies really help, but sooner or later, that warmth would be gone and like what Mr Low says, 'when you receive the O level results, it's all about you'.
Wishes spread around and soon it was my turn. Well, before that, I turned to God. A prayer of thanks and faith really helped in the process, as I let out my nerves. It was my turn.
Looking at the passage, I sort of went blank. It was more difficult than previous years, but it was so expected, yet unexpected. 5 minutes went and off I went.
The past came back to haunt me.
The midyear question for orals were exactly the same. Cut and copy. And I thought youth issues were coming out. But fared better than before. 1 question after the beginning question and that was it. It was done.
Is that good or bad? I didn't say much, in fact I expected more questions so I actually stood there for a while, thinking of saying suggestions, but off I went.
No matter the outcome, confident I stand.

'O'.
Tomorrow is the day. Well, at least for Chinese Orals. But still I hope not to screw up like I did during my mid years.
But now I have grown strength from becoming a laughing stock to finally entering the league of acceptable Chinese.
With confidence, I do pray things will go my way tomorrow.
Remember, we are all team players and everyone's gonna face it.
Wish me luck!
God Bless and Peace.

MT Oral this Thursday.
Snap, and yet another holiday period gone. It's scary, really, that the O levels will start in exactly 4 months. The entire level was given a lecture by Mr Low, and gave us a reality check. (4C: 3rd!) Not that but... you get the idea.
Along with inflation rates by 3 folds in 4 years time, life just isn't simple anymore.
P.E. and despite sitting at my couch for like the entire duration of the holidays, managed to run all the way without halting and a 4th position was the reward. "Perform to excellence" Somehow it gave me the strength to push on. I hope to do that within the next 4 months.
1 st day of the term over and come to think of it, it'll be 3 more months till we graduate. Never knew this day would come, but hey, time can't wait and sooner or later, all these won't matter.
Btw MT Oral this thursday and I'm the first in class to go! O_O I really do pray for a manageable topic, and no matter the outcome, I pray to be assured of the best I can achieve. Right now, ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ time.
God Bless and Peace.

Do tag.
Please, please tag when you visit my blog. Silent visitors will be prosecuted. Just kidding.
I hope things will be different. Anyway Phuket Day 2!
Day 2
It was waking up to a lovely homecooked breakfast. (Yes there's a kitchen in the hotel room!) Bacon and eegs with the ever-lovable frosties before we headed out to town. The room was just so homely we left the place at 1pm. So again the long drives hindered the trip as we sat in the 5-seater rented car for 30 min to an hour. First and last thing we ate in Phuket? MK FAMILY STEAMBOAT RESTAURANT. Still can taste it in my mouth. SO we ate it at the shopping centre and walked around Robinson in Phuket Town. Things there aren't as convenient as in the city of Bangkok, but considering where they were 20 years ago, it's like such a huge improvement. That's why they're the richest province of Thailand (according to Dad). We headed to Patong Beach for a walk around. Prices that are too high as sellers try to squeeze every baht out of tourists, but still the deals were not bad. Bought DVDs and those people lied about the quality of the discs. They didn't know of the DVD player in our room. ;D
So by then, it was 11pm and there goes the day. How time flies when you are having fun.
And day 3 will be updated the next time, cos' I'm tired! With that, goodnight.

Keep Faith.
A foolish attempt, yet one that seemed to open my eyes. If you want to be good, you have to stick by it and that means constant practice. Apparently I didn't do that and as expected, like a frying pan flinged into my face, a sad case of not being good enough. 7 is the target, and no way am I letting up. 122 more to go. Time to divide by 3.
God Bless and Peace. (Updates on Phuket next time around)

Quiz.
One more thing. There's a quiz from Jeslyn, so I'll take some time to answer it. Opps there are rules in this game: Remove one of the questions from below and add in your own (personal) question to make a total of 20. Tag to 10 people in your list at the end of the post. Notify them. :DD
1.At what age do you wish to married?
26.
2. If you were to be on a stranded island, who are the three buddies you'd take and why?
The entire 4C! Oh wait, only 3. Gordon, Jun Jie and Faiz. Gord cos' he's tall and easily noticeable. Jun Jie cos' it'd be interesting to see another side of him. Faiz cos' secrets will be the only thing on the island.
3. Who is the person you love most?
Her. She is/has to be stunning.
4. If you have one dream to come true, what would it be?
To be with God in heaven at the end of my life!
5. Do you believe you can survive without money?
With love and God, anything is possible.
6. What are you afraid to lose most?
Family and friends. That day would come, unfortunately.
7. If you have 1 million bucks, what would you do?
Some proceeds to earthquake victims in Asia, save for the future and the rest is history. $$$
8. If you meet with someone that you love, will you confess to her?
Yeah, I would, if I had guts. But better not to keep quiet.
9. One bad point the person who tagged you have?
Not very sure, haha. Everyone isn't perfect.
10. Is everything possible to you?
Faith, that's the word. Sky's the limit.
11. What kind of people do you hate most?
People who don't express themselves as they should be with other people.
12. There's a situation. You have a lovely sports car and drove by a bus stop. It was late at night and the last bus service came an hour ago. There were 3 people: A man who had saved your life, a woman injured and losing blood furiously and the girl/guy of your dreams. You can only bring one along in this two-seater, but who?
I would give the keys to the man, let him rush the woman to the hospital to save her life and sit at the bus stop with the girl alone. :D
13. What things can't be seen by others the most?
My secrets.
14. Any wisdoms to share with your readers?
From Kung Fu Panda, "Yesterday was history, tomorrow is a mystery, then today is a gift. That's why they call it 'present'".
15. If faced with difficulties around you, will you move to a safer place or fight?
If the enemy is big and mighty, move to a safer place. If not, FIGHT!
16. If there is one part of your character you could change, what would it be?
Not being disrupted from studies.
17. Who is the person you can share your problems with?
There are people who listen out to me. Thanks guys.
18. What do you think is the most stupid stuff humans may get to?
IVAN from 4C!
19. What does love mean to you?
There's like 4 types of love, but I think it's when 2 become 1.

Back to humidity.
What a trip to Phuket! Different perspective of life starts to mould in a different environment, and I do wonder, "What am I in this world?".
Day 1
Hit the airport in the P.M. and I absolutely love the area of entertainment before getting on the plane. It was FIFA Street 3 this time, and an hour there was just about enough, I guess. The ambience. The feeling. It was all too familiar, but this time, I didn't have that eagerness towards the holiday. But it was about to end. Arrived at the airport, and tens of stumps that protrude out of the sea were also all too familiar (nope, not geography textbooks). Hundreds of caucasians landed at the same time, and man are they big. Checked into the hotel and DAMN, you should see the interior (photos of it next time). It is the best hotel room I have ever stayed in, period. Went out for thai foodies and ThaLayTong proved to be an eye-opener to Thai Food. Unfortunately, it was the last time we ate good Thai Food there. Off to Tesco and long drives overshadow the purpose of the trip: to relax at the beaches. Enjoyed watching Villa's hat-trick and it was off to the cozy bed. I was feeling it again: HOLIDAY MOOD. But I still brought some work over, don't want to forget how to write again.
Day 2
To be continued...
I will continue the next time, cos' I gotta sleep, I'm tired. So I'll cut short to the weekend. Saturday was back to tuition centre and had to make up for chinese tuition in the evening. The teacher's a funny dude. And I'm improving in my orals! :D (Not yet Distinction range, however.)
On Sun, studied in the morning before heading for service. Lunch-ed at Serangoon Central, and it was back home to prepare for surprise Father's Day Buffet! But it failed, terribly. It did not even please my dad ):. As usual, he wants the things "money can't buy". Anyway, went to grandparents' place again for dinner and a little dose of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, before finishing EL homework.
Also, a valuable lesson today: The Word of God is the only way to Salvation (Romans 1:16)
Off to Geog and bbq tmr! How am I going to cope?
God Bless and Peace.

Amazing.
Two things that were amazing this weekend.
On Sat night, went out for a walk cos' I was freaking bloated. Was walking along East Coast Road, when I saw this YELLOW ball of light in the clear night skies. Wasn't flickering and travelling quite fast. I looked at it for a while, thinking of getting on the plane tomorrow, cos' I thought it was an aeroplane. Suddenly, the fast-travelling ball of light VANISHED TO DARKNESS. "What the hell?"
Looked at that spot again. Didn't appear again. Thinking about it, I saw this actual aeroplane flying in the dark skies. Complete contrast to the ball of light: flickering lights, small, slow and definitely did not vanish in thin air. My bro thinks it's a comet, but comets aren't that near to earth and don't disappear out of nowhere. My guess? An 'object' that sped off millions of light years away. I mean, it could be anything, I'm just using my imagination. (Don't call me crazy)
Then, today, woke up at 8 -.-, and went off to church. After the service, went to the bus-stop and saw this gal dressed in dark grey/black. "Wow", I thought, but once again, freaking a lot of ppl around. Boarded the same bus as her and she looked at me. Till we meet again.
Sorry, was having a little fantasy drama there. Studied in the library with Joel till 5.45pm. (Stupid Superhero Movie on his laptop)
Back home and ready to embark on a journey I felt wasn't at all the right time. Oh well, a little break won't harm, would it?
PHUKET, here we come!
God Bless and Peace.

4C Forever.
What a day it was. I've learnt new things today.
These past few days was about staying at home and doing freaking test papers. Except for tuition yesterday, in which I also did test papers. -.- Just trying to finish up holiday homework first, before I move on with other things.
Today was interesting to say the least. I've learnt that friendship bonds are so important in times of need; they mend up the things we keep inside, as we let down our hair for games. No matter how many times you win or lose, you have to credit to my class for keeping our spirits up.
And speaking of spirits, we actually saw some in the dark. Humans, I mean. And they were doing things that would make any teenager curious. "How does it feel like?" Some may ask. "Why do they want to do it here?" Others may ask too. The power of love is so immense that I don't think they give a damn if other people saw. Cheers to Mankind and God, for making pleasures in life.
Then, the food. Didn't eat much unfortunately, but it's alright. The whole outing itself was fun enough. East Coast Pit 53 Carpark E. See I even know the place!
I do hope we keep vivid memories of 4C even as we move on to bigger things in life, and keep the spirit burning, cos' seriously, I don't think there would be a class like this in the future.
On Mon, going overseas. Seriously going to bring some work there, no matter how fake it looks on my image. Cos' time doesn't wait.
Bio today at 10am. -.- 7 hrs of sleep then!
God Bless and Peace.
(P.S. Your word is safe with me.)

Week 1 of holidays gone.
What a weekend. And thanks to my dad's advice, I will now have to arrange my stuff in order by tomorrow, even if it takes all day.
So the weekend was, shall I say, fun! But hope that the next three weeks will be cutting on play. The details?
Went to tuition on the beginning of Sat. But before that, a phone call came along when I was sleeping. (Thanks Glen)
Went to class and was freaking full. Reminder to myself not to go to Physics tuition late again.
Then lunch-ed Hokkien Mee before TOPMAN in PP. Changed my shirts I got for my birthday to P*** and Black. Then rushed home with Bernard and SQ and found skinnies dun suit me that much. Went with the conventional and off we went.
Arcade, Marina Square and it was down to Singapore Conference Hall for Musical World 22. Have to say Alumni performance owned. Heard members were from SAF Band. O.O
Glen was fun to poke at along with Weng Keong while they were on stage. (Sorry to the whole audience for making the whole thing a 4C affair.)
Concert ended 9.45pm and it was down to Plaza Sing for Secret Recipe. Ordered myself an ice blended cos' I knew my mum definitely baked something at home. And I was right! Chocolate Oreo Cheesecake. Indulgence is bliss.
Overall a fun affair on Sat.
Today, went to Joel's church for captain's ball. We lost all, but the semifinal should have been ours. Till 5 it ended and I promise to be quieter.
Grandparents' place before wasting 2 hrs of my life doing absolutely nothing thanks to the mess on the table. I grow anxious and I can't study. Thank God today's Monday. A new day and a new week!
God Bless and Peace.
