Slack

Blogging in the morning at school? Seems impossible, but apparently, Mdm Miss Raksha allowed the whole class to have three free periods. So at the com lab now. Not very slack for Sec 4, aye?

Last Sunday, attended Easter service at ORPC with my family, then went to ECP for a stroll in the park. Not really, cos' we went on bikes, but it was unwinding. The last time we went to the park was months back. And I wonder why haven't I been making more use of this wonderful facility.

It is literally at the back of my place, and it's like one of the best gardens you can find around here. The high speeds on bikes. The wind against your face. The moonlight. It's a perfect place to let loose in Singapore.

I've decided every last Sunday of the month would be our time in the park, but wonder if I'll keep up with it.

Right now, Fadhil is shouting vulgar words at 4Cians, but I wonder when will they get serious about this crucial year.
Hust rearranged my books and I'm damn sure my arrangement's gonna work this time. Just that I'm taking up my entire family's dining table. But they accepted the fact that I need this. Now time to fully take control of all my files and homework, and get the show on the road.

God Bless and Peace.

Good Friday.

I thought today would be a normal public holiday, but somehow, Lord blessed me.

It was your usual day. No anticipation. No expectations. No far-fetched dreams.

My Dad asked: "We'll going to Taka. Wanna come?" Why not?

Off it was to the streets of Orchard Road, and I didn't know my family's purpose of heading down there.

"To see around some vacation club."

Okay, fine. Something new. Not knowing my day was to be the greatest Friday ever.

I'm going to the United States in December.

You must be wondering why. Trust me, I was wondering why myself. How can I be going to the United States, the place right at the back of my thoughts, a place that was honestly not my personal choice? Go figure, but all I can say is, it's the marvels of God's Will.

Anyway, yesterday was 4C's class outing and it was a 'success', depending on how you see it. Bowled, CS-ed, ECP-ed till 10-plus.

Today was the mini class outing and Step Up 2 was not too bad, but too predictable and too happy. And the kissing scene was an over-kill, but full of passion.

And I'm off to the comfort of my bed. Thank You Lord.

God Bless and Peace.

English Oral Prelims.

A rather quiet day it was today, but before today, there was yesterday. And the day before yesterday.

Sat was a brand new start. I've changed my golf lessons to Sunday and my Saturdays are now for tuition and JG or for studying.

1st golf lesson on Sun 12 noon. Felt awkward being there, but I gelled in the end. Got coach Lim Swee Wah and though his English may not be the best, he can give you advice. Awaiting more members in my 3-member group.

Chionged geog and physics homework, for the rest of the day.

English Orals tmr and got a haircut today. Didn't go to the usual barber; I opted for a change. 7 bucks and not a bad deal at all.

Practised talking to myself and some notes before going to meet face-to-face with my 2 invigilators. Wish me luck.

God Bless and Peace.

Haven't been updating for a few days now. Holidays gone in a blink, as usual.

Good Friday's up next!

Wednesday was spamming maths tuition for 4hrs, got some things done, only some. :P

Went to school for SLC (Student Leaders' Convention), it was a timely affair; eats up the entire day, but filled with fun. In the morning, ate my biscuits for breakfast before heading to the tennis courts for soccer! (ironic?)

Then slacked with the guitar before reflection time in the AVA room. Sec 3 Guo Xiang, participating in the convention, is a Primary 3 kid in disguise, I'm serious. Hahaha, forgot to take a photo of him!

Then it was lunch at KFC, before tuition at 2. (skipped the rest of SLC, hahah!) We did ionic bonding for chem tuition. Then headed to Gordon's house for a game of mahjong (okay 3 games). Won once! My first victory in my life of mahjong, which has lasted a week.

Then went back to Katong Mall for chinese tuition, then home for dinner at 9 O_O.

Today was rather interesting, gonna move to Sunday class for golf, so now Saturdays can breathe a sigh of relief. But the only setback: tennis lessons are now not possible :(, never mind cos' it's O level year anyway.

Went for movie with Calvin, Joel, Xin Kai and Erwin. Erwin threw tandrum at something unnecessary, and nearly spoilt my day. But for that, a movie treat by Joel. Worth it? Definitely. :}

Went to mac at taka for some "work", some questions from my physics workbook. I have Physics and Geog homework left. Done E, A Maths, Chemistry, Biology homework. Plus Prelim English Oral next tuesday. O_o. Stay calm. There's always Sunday :).

Pepper LUNCH for DINNER. Then back home and dunno why I'm blogging now, anyway it's done.

God Bless and Peace.

What a view.

Just changed my background pic and I have to say, it is simply spectacular.

The mountain is Mt. Abrupt. But I think it's more than a mountain.

It's Australia. It's nature. It's life. That's me!

I never want to forget the memories of the past, so I don't want the blogskins other bloggers have. They display the lifeless and meaningless words of heartbreak or love. No, I want to show the wonderful collage of photos my family took during our 13-day trip to Victoria and South Australia last June.

It was well appreciated, unlike the other trips when I was just a toddler. It's a trip I think everyone should go at least once in their lifetime. It can't be missed. Plus the rides in the campervan made the trip an all-rounder.

Save some cash, pack your bags and head on down to the young island of Australia. (I wasn't paid to do this, but seriously, it's worth it!)

The confined spaces of HDB flats will be blown away by the vast spaces and freedom you'll ever get. Mt. Buffalo had snow and who knows what else it could bring to your stressful lives.

Fly away from here.

God Bless and Peace.

Push on.

"Have a break, have a kit kat'

Yes, it's that time yet again, where we can finally sleep for 9 hrs everyday!

For those who headed to Hebei for the exchange programme, I wish I was with them. But seriously, these holidays are meant to relax and study at the same time.

Holiday homework keep coming in like never-ending phone bills, and they are in stacks. -.-
ARRRGGHH.

There were some things over the last few days.

Wed: Chem SPA

Today: Bio SPA

Sad to say Chem SPA was going good except for the last working.

Instead of dividing the equation, I MULTIPLED it. Can't get smarter than that, can you?

But I look at life at the targetm not at the small obstacles in front of me. I will push on.

Thursday was P.E. and we did fllorball. Scored one but we still lost 4-3. :(
Then, had tuition at night at Katong Mall, my 2nd lesson. Starting to get the hang of things, continue to push on.

Today was a rather short day and THE LAST DAY OF TERM 1! Bio SPA was last on the list and we did diffusion and osmosis. Heard around that the value is around 0.3M but my results ended up with 0.48M. However, every thing else was good, and it should be alright. Remember to push on.

Went to Parkway to eat KFC with Mdm Tang and 4C-mates. Then headed to Tommy's house for MAHJONG?? I'd never thought of playing that game, but it's a new game I learnt today. Rather intersting, but be warned. Not an ideal game for easily-influenced people, cos' it could get quite addictive. Was good in the end. Home, and ate some good Bak Kuh Teh cooked by Mum and Bakwan Sop (Hmmmm...).

Chionged the 72-page holiday homework for bio and after like 2 hrs completed 20 plus pages ONLY.

Now blogging and yet to wash up.

Should be JG tmr after tuition, haha. Btw, L1R5:12 13

Push on.

God Bless and Peace.

Shock? Not really.

Chem results.

A level average of 13/35 for the test. Yes, you are looking at 13 in VS as an average. I wasn't expecting the best of things to come out from this.

23.

I was stunned at first, then realised I could get another 4 marks. Improvements to be made, man.

So now L1R5: 12.

Now, for mid-years.

Off to work on Chem SPA tmr.

God Bless and Peace.

headhunter

Ok today was busy. I went on a headhunt for teachers during assembly, cos' lessons missed for 3 days. Could have been a goner had I missed another week of school.

Bio CA after assembly and I got like a 25/35 for it, eventually an A1 for bio!

L1R5 unless Chem results are a miracle: 13.

Not bad, my best CA1 performance during my existence in this instituition. (: But there's always room for improvement. BIG ONES.

Anyway it's all about racing around the school and nabbing teachers on the go. Haha, get things my way. :P

I'm Back

Every weekend seems to be a hectic one. The inevitable passing of time makes things worse, but you gotta live with it right?

Okay, where should I start? Oh, IMCB on 29th Feb!

Woke up at 7.15am and supposed to meet up with Joshua for breakfast, but that son-of-a-Ng went with the Anderson dudes instead. -.-

I was punctual for all 3 days okay? It's just a matter of how you see time. I see it as a valuable asset in your SLEEP.

See went there via the overflowing MRT and after 3 days of this, I wonder how am I going to survive during working life. I didn't even have the confined space to open my Today newspaper. -.=

So mixing with the adults in this workshop really made me understand the way the transport system goes around here, 'If you have to be there, you gotta get there'. So arrived at IMCB to find Keith there, and he was the first (as usual) to arrive there. Computer :P before Ron came. Then it was down to the lab for freezing of crystals, before lunch! We actually spammed photos before that, cos' we had nothing to do! If I'm not wrong, bout an hour?? Lol, but it was cool. Had crystals! But some were too small or too compact. So we still placed them in liquid nitrogen. (hahah!)

Lunch at BK and I am sad to say we had a 'cold joke session'. It was so expected, everyone was quiet and someone had to burst the bubble yeah? Apparently, only one was cold enough to vomit them out. -.-

Saw Yi Ming on the way back to bus stop and went back to get contact list of everyone, including Ron! We even saw his friendster and checked out blogs, and found out Joshua was truly emo. (H..Hii!)

Also saw RV virgin schoolmate's blog called Kasey, and started to talk issues hot under the collar and moreover, she is a Christian!

"Silence! I kill you!"- Achmed the dead terrorist.

"Toilet! I need to go toilet!- Mas Selemat, before this old man escaped the Whitey Road Detention Centre. Zzzzzz.

Sorry, that just went through my mind so I had to type it out before it vanishes like the wind.

So, it was down to the X ray crystallisation lab. And that's where we took our group photo and played mindless games. The overall result of this entire workshop?

"It was a good try, but none of you achieved the perfect results"- Tommy

Yup, not everyone's perfect but it's the process in the making that makes it worthwhile right?

It was time to say goodbye and Ron says every group was reluntant to go after sending us off. Like Duh, we might never have the kind of experience we had ever again till the 'O' levels yeah? We have to shift back to full gear for O levels and seriously, now is the time to.

We are gonna miss IMCB aren't we? Hahah at least we have each other's email addresses!

Anyway played pool with Joshua and mind you Joshua you didn't 'Totally owned" me, it was something like 5-3? Just won me cos' I was unlucky in the beginning aye? Hahah, I should chill. :p

Luckily, Caleb, Junrong, Kaymond and Josef were still waiting for me in Lavender MRT. They went, fortunately. And we had fun and games before worship. And I can honestly say that it benefited more for me than for the non-christians, cos' it's an outreach event.

Went home after that and I thank God for the event. And zzzzzzz quite early.

Next morning, and it was tuition in the morning till 4.15pm. Before chionged to golf, which was basically a waste of precious time with the golf video. Then, went to Bugis N.Y.D.C. for dinner and have to thank John, Priscilla, Joy, Stephanie and Sam for waiting. Walter left by then, so Walter, "hi". Hahah. I was feeling really pai-seh, cos' I had to finish my Roast Chicken Spaghetti and Priscilla's Favourite under watchful eyes. But, inevitably again, we resorted to cold jokes to pass the time of eating my meal. Hahah, sorry if I ddin't make a impactful mark with my killer jokes, I will try harder... after 'O' levels. Arrr, I'm starting to get the idea.

Went home at 11 and did some work before zzzzzzzzzzzzz.

This morning, supposed to go for tennis but didn't so I think I have to stop tennis cos' no new skills taught.

WHOA finally finished blogging. Hope your satisfied, Joshua.

Like what Shi Xiao says, "Back to reality."

God Bless and Peace.
